On October 11, in the production workshop of Zhongli Intelligent Technology (Ma'anshan) Co., Ltd., as a red forklift slowly drove out of the production line, the first new energy forklift in Ma'anshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone officially rolled off the assembly line.
Zhongli Intelligent Technology (Ma'anshan) Co., Ltd. is a company in Ma'anshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone that specializes in the research and development and production of key structural parts and complete vehicles for new energy forklifts, with a designed annual production capacity of 30,000 new energy forklifts. According to Cao Kexi, chairman of Zhongli, the Zhongli factory mainly accepts foreign trade orders, and the first batch of complete vehicle products are exported to the Middle East. In the future, it will expand into Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States. "Foreign trade orders are not a problem at present," Cao Kexi said confidently, "and it is expected that the output value will increase by another 30 million yuan in the fourth quarter of this year."
"We chose the comprehensive bonded zone because of the good business environment here, and more importantly, because the Zhengpu Port New Area has obvious advantages in district-port linkage." When asked why he chose to settle in the comprehensive bonded zone, Cao Kexi replied that the comprehensive bonded zone is very close to the Zhengpu Port Terminal, and there are river-sea transport and rail-water transport. Considering the logistics costs and transaction costs, the company finally chose to settle in the comprehensive bonded zone. "We calculated that a foreign trade container can save more than 1,000 yuan in logistics costs." Just like Zhongli Company, many high-quality companies have chosen to settle in Zhengpu Port New Area and Ma'anshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone in recent years. As of the end of August this year, the Zhengpu Port Terminal completed a throughput of 1.7341 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 13%, and foreign trade containers reached 48,000 TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 138%; the Zhengpu Port Railway completed a freight volume of 518,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 404%.
