UPPERFORK CPCD35T-SJ6 3.5T Solid Lithium Battery Forklift

The UPPERFORK CPCD35T-SJ6 is a 3.5-ton solid lithium battery forklift with a rated capacity of 3,500 kg and a 500 mm load center. Ports, steel service centers, and large manufacturing plants run it for heavy work, where the shifts keep coming and the loads stay heavy. The 80V/480Ah pack sits in a side-pull compartment, so when one shift ends, the next one starts with a fresh battery instead of waiting on a charge.

The battery and the motors

Power comes from an 80V/480Ah solid-state lithium battery feeding a 10 kW travel motor (16 kW peak) and a 16 kW lift motor (20 kW peak). Fully loaded, the truck moves at 12 km/h, lifts at 320 mm/s, and still climbs a 15% grade; unladen, gradeability rises to 20%. The battery delivers torque straight from standstill with no voltage sag, which matters on ramps and when pulling out of a loading dock with a full pallet.

What operators notice first is what is missing: no watering, no equalization charge, no acid handling. Short breaks are long enough for an opportunity charge, and the pack does not age faster for it.

Swapping packs on site

When a full charge is not possible, the side-pull system lets one trained operator swap packs with a pallet truck or roller tray. No crane, no hoist, no charging room. On a 24/7 site, a single truck can run three shifts by rotating packs, which is the main reason fleets move away from lead-acid.

The operator's cab

The cab is arranged around the operator rather than the other way round. The seat is adjustable and suspended, the hydraulic controls sit at the fingertips, and the mast leaves the view clear. Hydraulic service brakes and a mechanical parking brake are standard, and automatic load stabilization plus collision avoidance run quietly in the background on busy floors.

Heavy work, tight yards

Standard lift height is 3,000 mm, maximum fork height 4,120 mm, free lift 150 mm. Solid tyres, a 2,280 mm turning radius, and 4,900 kg of operating weight give the truck its footing on rough floors and in tight yards. There are no tailpipe emissions, and the noise level is low enough for indoor work without extra ventilation.

The long-term costs

Two numbers carry the argument: roughly 50% lower energy cost per shift than a comparable diesel truck, and a battery rated for 10,000+ cycles, so the pack outlives the typical mid-life lead-acid replacement. Over a few years of daily use, that is where the total cost of ownership starts to look different.
